Android Developer | Kotlin · Java · Modern Android Development
I am an Android developer focused on building reliable, maintainable, and user-centered mobile applications. My work combines practical Android development experience with a strong interest in software architecture, clean code, and creating applications that solve real-world problems.
My development journey began with native Android development using Java and Kotlin. Over time, I have continued expanding my skills toward modern Android practices, including Jetpack Compose, MVVM, Clean Architecture, Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, dependency injection, and local data persistence.
I enjoy working across the different layers of an application, from designing responsive user interfaces and managing application state to integrating REST APIs, handling data locally, and improving the overall user experience. I value code that is not only functional, but also understandable, testable, and easier to maintain as a project grows.
One of my main projects is Meerkat Dex, an Android application designed to help users discover games and explore useful information about them. Developing this project has given me the opportunity to work with real application requirements, API integration, data management, navigation, offline states, and architectural decisions.
Alongside Android development, I have experience working with backend technologies such as PHP and Laravel, as well as web technologies including WordPress. This broader perspective helps me better understand how mobile applications communicate with backend services and how complete software products are built and maintained.
I believe good software is the result of thoughtful engineering, continuous learning, and attention to the people who use it. I continue to improve my technical skills by building practical projects, exploring better development approaches, and turning ideas into functional products.
Areas of focus: Native Android development, Kotlin, Java, modern Android architecture, API integration, data management, and maintainable software design
